Katharina Paschinger

After working on blood clotting factors in industry, Katharina Paschinger gained her doctorate in 2008 at the Universität für Bodenkultur in Wien, Austria, and is a self-financed FWF Fellow since 2009. Her interests are split between science, gardening, opera and her three children. Starting by studying helminth glycomics, she has since diversified into analyses of glycans from protozoa, fungi, marine organisms and insects; she has over 50 publications including ones in Molecular & Cellular Proteomics, Analytical Chemistry and Nature Communications.
