Etienne Caron is a Canadian scientist trained at the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer at the University of Montreal, Canada. He completed his education at EMBL-CRG in Spain and at ETH-Zürich in Switzerland. He is Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal and Principal Investigator at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center (www.caronlab.org). The research focus of his group is the immunopeptidome. He is the co-founder of the Human Immuno-Peptidome Project and the leading scientist of the SysteMHC Atlas project (https://systemhcatlas.org/). His research group is interested in the development and application of mass spectrometry technologies to advance the field of immunology, vaccine and immunotherapy.
